* Time of Julius Caesar (102-44 B.C. ) - it is said that Romans are poor in science. But contributed a lot in the field of infrastructure.

* Pliny the elder - only roman scientist that is celebrated.
* Galen - Wrote 150 of books on medicine.
* Cleopatra - Roman Queen who used cosmetics.
